JDG Media is looking for a Marketing & Office Assistant as part of the Government’s Kickstart Scheme. We have created this role to provide an opportunity for a young person to join a small business in the digital space, with the view to providing insight and skills that can either create a permanent full-time role in our business, or provide the appropriate skills to forge a career in the industry elsewhere. JDG Media is a digital agency, specialising in sport. We work with brands, professional clubs and governing bodies, publications, agencies and service providers in the industry. You will be involved with and gain exposure of:
  • Social media management, mainly on Facebook, Twitter & Instagram, including content creation, using scheduling tools and analysing results
  • Using website content management systems, particularly WordPress, to update websites for clients and in-house projects
  • Managing client relationships and ensuring the ongoing smooth delivery of our services
  • General digital admin tasks, including data entry, answering the phone and fulfilling e-commerce sales
You will have:
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Keen user of social media
  • Good organisational skills
  • An interest in sport is desirable
Work schedule: Mon-Thurs 9am – 3pm (including 45 minute break) Six-month contract Available to 16-25 year olds on Universal Credit with nil earnings when you apply
