The English Ice Hockey Association has engaged the services of JDG Media to assist with a club business transformation project, made possible thanks to funding from Sport England.
This project is specifically aimed at NIHL and WNIHL teams, with a focus on developing a suitable online presence for clubs to promote and sell products and services in a competitive and dynamic environment to help increase attendance, increase engagement and develop a sustainable business model.
This includes the use of social media and targeted marketing campaigns to generate greater commercial revenue to reinvest in the sport and support further development.
An EIHA spokesperson said:”We are excited to take this step forward in helping clubs transform their digital online presence to help grow the sport, and look forward to working alongside clubs and JDG Media in the coming months.”
A club consultation survey has already been sent out to start the project, with analysis of all clubs already underway.
This latest project follows the recent and ongoing successful work being done for the likes of Barrow Raiders rugby league club, Manchester basketball club and Warrington Town football club.
